Georgina Hughes

Georgina Hughes is a Senior Art Psychotherapist, HCPC and BAAT registered. She has 15 years’ experience of working within a CAMHS school-based service, specifically working with refugee and asylum seeking children and families, and a Tier 3 CAMHS service. She provides external and internal supervision and her role involves working with children and families with a wide range of difficulties, many of whom are looked after children.

Georgina has many years of experience working with BME young people and families as an art psychotherapist and community artist in the UK and abroad. Georgina is trained in Narrative Exposure Therapy and Children’s Accelerated Trauma Treatment and has a specific interest in working with trauma.
