Our training

Our training aims to help professionals to develop their awareness, knowledge, skills and confidence in working with children and families from Black and minority ethnic communities, and to innovate and share knowledge and expertise.

Custom training

We are always happy to discuss and develop ideas for bespoke training in line with your organisation's requirements. Please contact us to let us know what training you would like and how we can help.

Past training topics include:

  • Psychologically Informed Environments
  • Family Group Conferences (FGCs) and Harmful Sexual Behaviour
  • Attachment & Safeguarding Across Cultures
  • Working with Adolescents
  • Child Advocacy
  • Cultural Awareness Training
  • Culturally Competent Therapy
  • Emotional Health and Wellbeing of BME Pupils
  • FGCs and Domestic Abuse
  • Mediation and Psychometric Assessment Across Cultures.
My team reported that all aspects of the day were informative, enjoyable and excellently delivered... They now feel more confident understanding the reasons behind a child’s behaviour, and will continue this learning with their own research.
