Cultural consultancy
Cultural Consultants help improve understanding and communication, ensure that professionals can work effectively with users of their service, and that service users feel understood and can engage.
Our trained Cultural Consultants are from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including the Caribbean, North Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, China, West Africa, East Africa and South Asia. All our Cultural Consultants receive regular supervision and support from qualified health, social care and education professionals. They have been trained in professional conduct and practices such as confidentiality, record-keeping and safeguarding.

Cultural Consultants Project
We were funded by Manchester Health & Care Commissioning's Mental Health Grants Programme to deliver a project with Survivors Manchester, focussing specifically on helping engage male survivors of sexual abuse from Chinese, Somali and Eastern European backgrounds.
